New London Electric can set up and install a generator that will deliver electric power to your home whenever there is a power failure. The investment in a portable generator or a standby residential generator can save you the expense of costly repairs due to frozen pipes and flooded basements due to power outages.

PORTABLE GENERATOR

We can purchase a generator for you or you can buy it yourself.

Recommended is a 7500 watt generator with electric start and wheel kit so it can be easily moved outside.

We would install a generator circuit breaker panel with 6, 8 or 10 circuits, to be located next to your electrical panel.

Preferred circuits; well pump, heater, refrigerator, freezer, microwave or preferred receptacle or lighting circuits throughout your house.

This is a very affordable system, but needs to be started and stopped manually.

AUTOMATIC STAND-BY GENERATOR

Automatically detects a power outage and within seconds, starts up and restores your power, then automatically turns off when power is restored.

By the size of the generator, your whole house can have power or just dedicated circuits throughout your house that you have chosen.

Generators are fueled by propane or natural gas.

Generator automatically starts and runs 10 minutes once a week to ensure everything is working properly for when you need it.
